Social Content Coordinator
As a Social Content Coordinator for Whataburger, I drove daily engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and LinkedIn by creating compelling content that energized our community. Leveraging Adobe Creative Suite, I crafted eye-catching graphics, videos, and photography that brought the brand to life. I also actively connected with customers, providing real-time responses and solutions to ensure a positive brand experience.
Storytelling
During my two years on Whataburger’s Social Media team, I had the opportunity to showcase fan stories and celebrate their love for the brand in exciting ways. From planning six Whataburger-themed weddings, hosting a live-streamed dog adoption event, and collaborating with apparel brands, I’ve been part of some unforgettable projects. Here’s a recap of my favorite large-scale campaigns:
-
Whataweddings
This Valentine's Day, Whataburger celebrated LOVE in a big way – hosting six weddings and vow renewals for hundreds of couples at select restaurants across Texas!
When your love is as big as a Bacon & Cheese Whataburger ... where else would you go?
See below to learn more about each Whatawedding couple, including photos from their celebrations in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Houston, College Station, Fort Worth, and Grand Prairie, and head here to learn more about the vow renewals

Going to the Dogs
No doubt about it, dogs are the MVPs of the pandemic. They get all the extra ear scratches when we're working from home, provide the perfect "the dog ate my homework" excuse for remote learners, and cheerfully leash up for extra walks to help us keep moving while the gym is closed.
So of course, Whataburger needed to pull out all the stops to celebrate National Dog Day with the Ulti-Mutt Pooch Party alongside our friends at the San Antonio Humane Society.

A Partnership in Patches
Their company tagline is “celebrate everything,” so when the opportunity came for Oxford Pennant to team up with Whataburger to create exclusive custom patches and jackets, they jumped at the invitation to the party.
The five custom patches Oxford Pennant made in collaboration with Whataburger include a representation of the iconic A-frame architecture, a Whataburger cup, french fries, an orange-and-white pennant, and the Whataburger logo. They won't be for sale, though – instead, they'll adorn 10 custom denim jackets up for grabs in the #WhataCustomJacketContest that challenges fans to show off their best Whataburger-inspired looks on Instagram.

Making Me Sew Hungry
Of course, your favorite thing to do with Whataburger fries is eat them. But if you’ve been looking for a way to satisfy that love in between meals – get crafty with the Whataburger Fries Cross Stitch Pattern!
Cross stitching not only cures boredom – it reduces stress, improves mental focus, promotes creativity, and the end result is a satisfying craft that makes the perfect gift!
