Public Art Documentary
I created a documentary about Public Art and the San Antonio community to educate people on the intersection of urban studies and art. This project explores how public art impacts and uplifts the San Antonio community. I created a 14-minute documentary to showcase public art across the city and to highlight the artwork’s participatory nature and symbolic impact. My documentary focused on San Antonio’s robust art scene and multicultural community while investigating arguments against and for the government funding of public art.
Trinity Freelance Design
When I was a student at Trinity University, I was the Digital Marketing Intern in the University’s Strategic Communications and Marketing Department for two years. After graduating from Trinity in 2019, I have been lucky enough to be a regular graphic design freelancer for the university. I have designed for various departments including Career Services, Student Involvement, and Academic Affairs.
Trinity University “Starbucks” Mug
Inspired by the Starbucks Been There mug series, I was asked to design a Trinity University-branded mug featuring unique elements of the university. These mugs were ordered to be given away to parents during the move-in weekend and parents’ weekend of 2020 and 2021.
Trinity University Passport Project
For the Summer Orientation of 2021 and 2022, I was asked to design materials for the incoming first-year students. I created a passport-inspired booklet and 56 stickers – one for each academic department and school-offered service. The goal was for students to visit and collect different departments’ stickers and fill up the passport booklet to be entered into a raffle prize.
